PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microwave amplifier having a structure of which a manufacturing process can be simplified. SOLUTION: A first amplification stage 3 includes an input 3a, an output 3b, and a transistor 9. The transistor 9 has a first terminal 9a for receiving a signal S<SB>IN1</SB>from the input 3a, a second terminal 9b for providing a signal S<SB>OUT1</SB>to the output 3c, and a third terminal 9c connected to a ground pattern. A transistor 11 has a first terminal 11a for receiving a signal S<SB>IN2</SB>from an input 5a, a second terminal 11b for providing a signal S<SB>OUT2</SB>to an output 5c, and a third terminal 11c connected to a ground pattern 13. The transistors 9, 11, for example, can be a III-V compound semiconductor field effect transistors having a source, a drain, and a gate. An impedance matching circuit 7 has one end 7a connected to the output 3b of the first amplification stage 3, and the other end 7b connected to the input 5a of a second amplification stage 5.
