OPTICAL DISK FOR INSPECTION AND ADJUSTMENT, AND METHOD FOR INSPECTING AND ADJUSTING OPTICAL DISK DEVICE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk for inspection and adjustment which is easily selected and always uses an unrecorded area in self recording/reproducing inspection and adjustment, and a method for inspecting and adjusting an optical disk device using the same. SOLUTION: The optical disk 1 for inspection and adjustment is provided with an information recording area 2 having the address information of a disk inspection area and the address information of the recorded or unrecorded area of an optical disk device inspection and adjustment area. The optical disk device can calculate the unrecorded area of the optical disk device inspection area from the address information of an information recording area 2, and always performs self recording/reproducing inspection and adjustment in an unrecorded area.
