PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an objective lens tilt compensation apparatus which can be made small in size and thin and is provided with a tilt compensation driving function having high reliability, to provide an objective lens driving apparatus on which the objective lens tilt compensation apparatus is mounted, to provide an optical pickup apparatus on which the objective lens driving apparatus is mounted and to provide an optical disk drive on which the optical pickup apparatus is mounted. SOLUTION: An objective lens holder 2 holding an objective lens 1 in a bobbin 4 of the objective lens tilt compensation apparatus and the bobbin 4 are connected by a leaf springs 3 for tangential tilt or wires 11 for tangential tilt to be a pair of elastic connection members at both ends in a tracking direction of the objective lens holder 2 and the objective lens holder 2 is supported so as to be tilted around the center of the rotational axis in the tracking direction. An extended line of a center axis of the leaf springs 3 for tangential tilt or the wires 11 for tangential tilt passes through a part in the vicinity of the principal-point of the objective lens 1.
