PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve greater efficiency of energy utilization, when doing a work by driving a work machine with a prime mover, by inserting a torque-amplifying device between the prime mover and the work machine. SOLUTION: A torque-amplifying device has a plurality of permanent magnets mounted on two rotors, wherein these rotors are magnetized so as to form a plurality of poles, and rotational force (torque) of central axis of the rotors is increased by utilizing repulsive force between same poles and attractive force between different poles of the magnets, and two or more rotors are arranged in series on one axis, whereby increasing rotational force (torque) of the axis by a factor of the number of arranged rotors.
