PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication terminal which recognizes a plurality of cards for identifying a user, and operates based on an information on a card selected among those, and to provide a method of recognizing the plurality of cards. SOLUTION: The mobile communication terminal is characterized by consisting of comprising a socket in which the card for identifying the user is inserted, a memory which saves the information on the card inserted in the socket, and a controller for controlling an operation of the mobile communication terminal based on the information on the card chosen among those when the information on two or more cards is saved in the memory.
