PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a doorphone unit capable of automatically authenticating a person for operating a doorphone slave unit and controlling the operation of a prescribed electric appliance for the person when authenticating the person to be a particular person and capable of managing the operation of electric alliances in a house. SOLUTION: In the doorphone unit provided with: a doorphone slave unit including a speaker, a microphone, and a camera; and a doorphone master unit 6 for making a voice speech with the doorphone slave unit and including a display section 7 for displaying image information photographed by the camera, the doorphone master unit 6 is principally characterized in to include: a control execution means that activates an electric appliance set to a person when the image authentication section 37 for collating people decides that a visitor is a particular person.
