ULTRASONIC SENSOR, ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD, AND ITS OPTIMAL DESIGN DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic sensor which can ease stress generated in each component and a component interface at manufacturing time without limiting material of the structure and the composing component. SOLUTION: The sensor is provided with a piezoelectric element 2; a cushion component 7 which covers at least a part of a sound matching layer 1 which is joined and formed with the piezoelectric element 2 and the piezoelectric element 2, and functions to make stress generated according to thermal expansion difference of the piezoelectric element 2 and a component adjoining the piezoelectric element 2 ease; sealing components 3, 4 for sealing the piezoelectric element 2; a reinforcement component 8 which contacts with at least a part of the sealing components 3, 4, and functions to reinforce the piezoelectric element 2; and a case 5 which covers the reinforcement component 8.
