PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a directional coupler capable of miniaturizing its circuit, and reducing the parts count of the whole of a transmitter/receiver and performing its miniaturization. SOLUTION: The directional coupler includes four resonators 12 coupled with magnetic fields or electric fields with each other, and signal lines for excitation 16 connected or arranged closely to the respective resonators 12 to excite the respective four resonators 12 by high-frequency signals. By using resonant circuits to constitute the directional coupler in this way, its coupling property is made to have a band pass property, and the coupler comes to have a function as a band pass filter.
