PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prize acquisition game apparatus allowing quick adjustment of prize acquisition rates for individual prizes. SOLUTION: A crane game apparatus has operating means, holding device bodies 20 arranged on a prize placing part and moved by signals from the operating means, holding means 21 having holding arms and provided on the holding device bodies 20, and a control means provided for controlling at least the holding device bodies 20 and holding means 21. A mode switching means is provided for switching between a normal mode and a maintenance mode, and a storage means is provided for storing holding operation start positions of the holding arms. When the mode is switched to the maintenance mode through the mode switching means, the holding operation start position O is determined corresponding to the signals of the operating means and the position O is stored, and thereafter the control means sequentially controls lowering of the holding device bodies 20, holding operation of the holding means 21, raising of the holding device bodies 20, and moving of the holding arms to the holding operation start positions stored in the storage means.
