PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restart a device in starting failure after completing the start of all the other devices even if a starting failure occurs. SOLUTION: When power is applied to a television receiver 1, a control section 21 reads the last condition stored in a memory in the television receiver 1, conducts an initial set processing based on the last condition. On detecting a starting failure of each device such as a tuner 12, a picture processing section 15 or an audio output system 50 when starting the device or changing set contents, the section 21 stores the starting failure in a non-volatile memory, and performs a restoration processing (restart) for the device having the flag. |
