PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic balance which is equipped with a ventilation shielding member, as well as, automatically allocates weighing objects. SOLUTION: This is the electronic balance comprising at least one opening and closing member 13, 213 which performs function of opening/closing at least one loading access hole 14, the ventilation-shielding member 16 which surrounds weighing chamber 15, 115 applied to the size of the weighing object, and driving mechanism which performs the function of operating the opening and closing member 13, 213. The electronic balance is designed such that the driving mechanism, also contains positioning members 12, 33, 212, both the driving mechanism equipped with the positioning members 12, 33, 212 and displacement-transmitting member 18, 30, contribute to lifting and lowering operations of conveyance system 6, 206 for load support member 3, 203, while the positioning members 12, 33, 212 locates the conveyance system 6, 206 and/or load support member 3, 203 at several specified positions.
