PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation system and a ventilation method for gas turbine facility for coping with its operation flexibly even when the facility is operated in a cold district and a special district where change of temperature is large to ensure high reliability and realizing them at low cost. SOLUTION: This ventilation system is provided with an enclosure 2 provided in a building and storing a gas turbine 1 inside it, a plurality of intake ports 3, 4 (two in this example) provided in the enclosure 2, a damper 5 as an intake air flow rate adjusting means for adjusting flow rate of intake air through these intake ports 3, 4, an exhaust port 6 provided in the enclosure 2, a ventilation fan 7 for ventilating the inside of the enclosure 2, a temperature detection means 8 for detecting temperature in the enclosure 2, and a controller 9 as a control means for outputting a driving signal to the damper 5 in accordance with a detection signal from the temperature detection means 8.
