FIELD: food industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: method provides for: treating external surface of alive animal for at least one time with microbiocidal solution obtained by mixing water with 1,3-dibromosubstituted-5,5-dialkyl-hydantoin. Treatment is carried out at least once when preparing animal to slaughter, before its bleeding. In other version carcase is treated after bleeding. One more version provides for treating raw meat product and/or processed meat food obtained from mentioned carcase.
