PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric actuator which can be driven for a long term in the state that a preload is always applied in the direction of the lamination of a laminated type piezoelectric element, when the load change or temperature change is generated. SOLUTION: The laminated piezoelectric element 2 constituted by laminating alternately piezoelectric members 5 and internal electrodes 7 is accommodated in a metal case 1. In this actuator, the metal case 1 is stretched and shrunk in telescopic motion of the piezoelectric element 2. In the metal case 1, the piezoelectric element 2 is accommodated and fixed, and a preload applying part 17 for applying a load in the direction of telescopic motion of the piezoelectric element 2, and an easy deformation part 21 which is formed adjacently to the preload applying part 17 and stretched and shrunk by a displacement transfer member 19 fixed to the element, 2 are installed. |
