<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a finger vein authentication apparatus applicable to a small information processing apparatus such as cellular phone, and an information processing apparatus using it. <P>SOLUTION: This finger vein authentication apparatus includes a light source emitting light toward a finger, an image sensor taking an image of the transmitted light from the finger, a lens apparatus focusing the transmitted light on the image sensor, and an image processing part processing the taken image. The lens apparatus 33 includes a short-focus and wide-field-angle lens unit 38, and the image processing part extracts a vein pattern of the finger by correcting the strain of the taken image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
