<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer recording device capable of obtaining a stable print free from granularity with high printing density and vivid colors without relying on ink ribbon density. <P>SOLUTION: A control part 11 of an image data forming device 10 of the thermal transfer recording device 1 applies resolution conversion processing, plate separation processing, gradation correction processing, dot processing, etc., to image data 5 input and stored in an image memory 33 of a storage part 12 and passes the image data to the print part 20 to perform print processing. In the gradation correction processing, the control part 11 obtains a dot area ratio according to the ribbon density of an ink ribbon to be used and corrects a gradation value. The print part 20 performs printing a solid image by the ink ribbon to be used, and then, prints a dot image corrected by the gradation correction processing to overlap it on the printed solid image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
