<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibody specifically recognizing apoB proteins of humans and rodents, and to provide a method or the like for utilizing the antibody. <P>SOLUTION: The antibody having specificity to the apoB proteins of the humans and rodents contains: one or two of polypeptides selected from the group consisting of a polypeptide having a specific sequence at least in one of variable regions of the H-chain and the L-chain, and a polypeptide in which one or several amino acids in the sequence are substituted, deleted, added or inserted.
