PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing method, an image forming method and an image forming device by which a high-quality image without causing the thinning of the edge and the emphasis of the edge of a high-density image part is stably obtained over a long term by using a magnetic two-component developing method. SOLUTION: In this image forming method, the surface of an image carrier is uniformly electrified by an electrifier, and an electrostatic latent image is formed by image exposure and developed with magnetic two-component development. In the method, toner concentration of developer is 3 to 8 mass %, toner electrifying amount is within 20 to 50 μC/g, the magnetizing amount in the intensity of the magnetic field of carrier of 79×103 A/m is 2.5×10-5 to 8.8×10-5 wb×m/kg, and the weight average particle size of the carrier is within 30 to 60 μm. In the method, development is performed by applying developing bias obtained by superposing AC voltage on DC voltage to a developer carrier, and setting the frequency of the AC voltage to <=2 kHz. |
