PURPOSE: A sensor monitoring apparatus for a vehicle is provided to check malfunction in the field which is generated in a strong electric field or a strong electric wave field by using an ultrasonic sensor as a front and a rear sensor. CONSTITUTION: A sensor monitoring apparatus for a vehicle comprises a portable moving object system(51) and a portable personal computer(37). The portable moving object system vertically and horizontally moves on the front part and the rear part of a vehicle(31) and checks the alarming of a sensor. According to the movement of the portable moving object system, portable personal computer receives the output signal of the sensor and grasps the normal operation of the sensor. The portable personal computer offers result as the graph.
