Disclosed is an X-ray imaging apparatus, in which an imaging area of an X-ray detector has an improved structure corresponding to user convenience. The X-ray imaging apparatus comprises: an X-ray source for generating and irradiating an X-ray, and an X-ray detector provided to detect the X-ray irradiated by the X-ray source. The X-ray detector includes: a frame including first and second surfaces, and having a recess provided in an inner wall of the first surface; a detecting panel received inside the frame, and of which a part of an edge is coupled to the recess; and an imaging area formed in the second surface to correspond to the detecting panel, and biased from a central part of the second surface to include a part of an edge of the second surface. |
