NOVEL LED SUPPORT STRUCTURE

Disclosed is an LED support structure. The LED support structure comprises a metal support terminal (1), an LED chip (2) fixed on the metal support terminal (1), a bonding line (3) used for connecting the surface of the metal support terminal (1) and the LED chip (2), and packaging adhesive (4) used for protecting the LED chip (2). The LED support structure is characterized by further comprising a plastic material (5) covered on the surface of the metal support terminal (1), and a plastic reflecting cup (6) wrapped on the metal support terminal (1). The metal support terminal (1) comprises metal pins (11) embedded in the plastic reflecting cup (6) and metal pins (12) arranged on the outer side of the plastic reflecting cup (6). Each metal pin (11) is provided with a functional area and a non-functional area. The bonding area between the plastic material and the packaging adhesive is increased, so the air-tightness of an LED structure is improved; and the plastic material covers the gaps where the plastic material is joined to the functional areas of the metal pins, so the moisture-proof performance and reliability of an LED product are improved, and the service life of the LED product is prolonged.
