PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that suppresses toner consumption by a measured image to be formed for gradation correction.SOLUTION: The image forming device comprises: a measured image forming portion that forms a measured image for density measurement, which has a shape extending along an outline of a density measurement area constituted of tracks in a density measurement time of a measurement visual field of a density measurement instrument, in comparison with a rectangular shape extending in an advancing direction; a density measuring portion that makes the density measurement instrument measure the density of the measured image formed by the measured image forming portion; and a gradation correcting portion that corrects a gradation of an image using the measured density value of the measured image measured by the density measuring portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
