PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can reliably engage a photoreceptor drum with a positioning member.SOLUTION: A printer 1 comprises: a body casing 2 that includes a positioning member 114; four process cartridges 14 that each move along the vertical direction between an engagement position at which a photoreceptor drum 25 engages with the positioning member 114 and an engagement release position at which the engagement of the photoreceptor drum 25 with the positioning member 114 is released; and a contact/separation arm 162 that moves between a pressing position to press the four process cartridges 14 and a pressing release position at which the pressing on the four process cartridges 14 is released. The contact/separation arm 162 rotates with a rotation shaft 172 arranged at a rear end part as the rotation center.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
