PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas meter capable of detecting gas leakage, when using a gas device with constant gas consumption which continuously consumes a specific quantity of gas, without stopping operation thereof.SOLUTION: A gas meter 1 comprises a gas flow rate measuring section 15 which has one gas inlet 3 and two gas outlets 6 and 7 as well as measures a flow rate of gas inflowing through the gas inlet 3 and outflowing through the gas outlets 6 and 7. One of the two gas outlets 6 and 7 serves as a constant gas outlet 6 connected to a gas device with constant gas consumption 4 which continuously consumes a specific quantity of gas and the other gas outlet serves as a variable gas outlet 7 connected to a gas device 5 which consumes a variable quantity of gas. A main gas channel 10 communicated with the gas inlet 3 is divided into a constant gas channel 11 communicated with the constant gas outlet 6 and a variable gas channel 12 communicated with the variable gas outlet 7. The gas flow rate measuring section 15 is installed only on the variable gas channel 12. |
