<p>A high voltage cable consists of a hollow tubular conductor with support elements made with radial holes for injection of the cooling oil. There are several layers of conducting elements on the supports. The layers of conducting elements consist of broad strips (4, 7) which run parallel to the axis of the conductor. The strips of layer are separated by slits (5). Each layer of conducting elements is wrapped by an electrically conducting strip (6, 8) which is permeable to gas and liquids. The tubular support element (1) consists of perforated metal strips.</p> |
