The brake-housing mounting is for full disc brakes, particularly for motor vehicles, the rotary housing being in two parts, closed to the outside. Both housing halves (5, 6) have on their outer periphery annular beads (51, 61), with taper faces on the sides furthest from the flange faces. Round these is fitted a U-section annular strap (71) in one or more parts, bearing against the taper faces, and secured by one or more tangential clamping screws (75). In the mating faces of the two halves there can be recesses accommodating cylindrical or spherical driving dogs (8).
