Gas oven with automatic hot cleaning system - has timer and circuit ensuring door locking during hot cleaning

The gas cooking oven has automatic hot cleaning system for the inner surfaces. The oven door is locked during the hot cleaning process which is monitored by the oven temp. regulator. High degree of safety is ensured on automatic hot cleaning. The oven temp. regulator (21) is connected to a timing mechanism (18) controlling the hot cleaning process and a changeover switch (16). One contact of the changeover switch is directly connected to the solenoid valve controlling the gas supply to oven burners. ON setting the oven temp. regulator to the hot cleaning process the timing mechanism (18) is released for actuation. The other contact of changeover switch (16) ensures locking of the door.
