PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an application service device(AP service device) which proposes which of the use of provided service and a purchase of an application itself can suppress the cost for data processing more as an AP service device which provides the data processing by the application as a service. SOLUTION: This AP service device 10 is equipped with a charge information table 12 which contains information on the charge needed for processing by the application, a data amount information DB 11 which stores information regarding the amount of data sent from a user terminal 30, a service use cost predicting means 16 which predicts the cost for the use of the service of the application according to the data amount information stored in the data amount information DB 11 and the charge information stored in the charge information table 12, and an operation style proposing means 18 which compares the predicted cost with the price of the application itself and sends information on the operation style of the application to the user terminal 30.
