Draughting machine with movable carriage is fitted with a stay bolt fitted to the vertical carriage and a spring bolt adjustable against the tension of a spring element. These are positioned co-axially and pointing towards each other to fit into recesses of the drawing head holder. The holder includes a detachable clamping device (14) positioned on the moving carriage (1) and gripping the spring bolt (5). Both the stay bolt (4) and the spring bolt (5) have cone stump shaped noses (9) which turn in ball-bearings (10) inserted into the drawing head supports (2).
