<p>The reclining seat can be adjusted in a lengthwise direction andis esp. intended for vehicles. The seat comprises a support for the seat cushion, which is fixed so that it can slide lengthwise. The fixture has a support base which can also slide in a lengthwise direction so that the vehicle seat can either tilt along a curved path or slive in the lengthwise direction of the vehicle. Between the seat cushion support and the sliding fixture are two locking and unlocking mechanisms. The seat cushion support is joined to a slide piece which moves along a curved rail centred on a transverse axis positioned above the theoretical pivot axis situated between the leg and the torso of the seat's occupant.</p> |
