<p>The distributor controls the mixing of hot and cold water and the flow to an outlet in a bidet, or a combined bath and shower. In the latter, a tap (144) for delivering water to a bath is pushed axially inwardly to provide communication between either or both of two conduits (116,118). These deliver respectively hot and cold water to the tap outlet (146). The tap is fixed for rotation with a sheath (142) which has apertures (156) over a restricted peripheral area so that its angular position determines the temp. of water being delivered. On further pushing of the tap communication between the outlet and the conduits is closed, and the latter communicate with a conduit opening to the shower head.</p> |
