PURPOSE:To manufacture a film with stable quality and superior photographic characteristics by separately preparing a component contg. an oxidizing agent for org. silver salt and a phtosensitive compound and a component contg. a reducing agent and by forming layers each having a specified thickness in specified order. CONSTITUTION:A soln. I contg. an oxidizing agent for org. silver salt, a photosensitive compound, a high molecular compound and an org. solvent is applied to a support so as to make the thickness after drying 6-15mum, and a soln. II contg. a reducing agent, a high molecular compound and an org. solvent is applied to the upper surface of the 1st layer so that the thickness after drying is made 1/3-2 times as large as the 1st layer . To apply the soln. II a reverse roll coater, a transfer roll coater, a gravure roll coater or the like is preferably used which can transfer a layer formed on the applicator roller in a predetermined thickness onto the 1st layer. |
