PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the data communication time for packet communication becomes longer, because data sink equipment returns one-packet quantity of data to host equipment after receiving the data and is not able to receive other data while the equipment returns the data. SOLUTION: The data sink equipment 2 temporarily stores received data in a reception buffer memory 6 and transfers the data stored in the memory 6 to a transmission buffer memory 7 and, at the same time, returns the data stored in the memory 7 to the host equipment 1. The equipment 1 verifies the data returned from the equipment 2 whenever the transmission of one-packet quantity of data ends and, when the presence of a transfer error is discriminated as a result of verification, the equipment 1 retransmits the verified packet. Consequently, transmitting data can be returned to the host equipment 1 in the unit of the storage capacity of the reception buffer memory 6 after the signals are verified and, at the same time, the data sink equipment 2 can receive other data while the equipment 2 returns the transmitting data. |
