PURPOSE:To hole the opening of a solenoid valve established by energization to an exiting coil, with the use of a permanent magnet, so that the opening condition of the valve may be stably held, by providing the permanent magnet in a magnetic path forming around the exciting coil, and by setting the magnetic force of the magnetic path at a predetermined magnitude. CONSTITUTION:A valve section 1 is formed therein with inlet and outlet ports 3, 4 and a valve seat 5 which is opened and closed by means of a valve member 6 driven by a solenoid 2. Meanwhile the solenoid 2 is constituted such that an exciting coil 10 is wound around a bobbin 9 and the outside of the above-mentioned coil 10 is surrounded by a magnetic frame 11 and a rod-like magnet 12 which is magnetized widthwise. Further, a core 13 is fitted into the bobbin 9, and an armature 15 is fitted into the bobbin 9, slidably in the axial direction. In this stage the magnetic force of the permanent magnet 12 is set such a magnitude that it sustains the attracted condition of the armature 15 with respect to the core 13 even if the coil 10 is deenergized in the condition in which the armature 15 is attracted to the core 13, but upon vibration having a magnitude larger than a predetermined value, it separates the armature 15 from the core 13.
