PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen evaporation preventing device for a liquid hydrogen storage tank, capable of efficiently trapping boil-off hydrogen. SOLUTION: In this hydrogen evaporation preventing device for a liquid hydrogen storage tank, a first tank 13 for storing a porous material 12, having high hydrogen occluding efficiency at low temperature, and a second tank 15 for storing a hydrogen occluding alloy 14 storing hydrogen separated from the porous material and having proper hydrogen storage efficiency at a temperature higher than the low temperature are provided in an evaporated hydrogen trap piping path 11 connected to the liquid hydrogen storage tank 10. A first chamber 31 for storing liquid hydrogen 1 and a second chamber 32 for storing the porous material 12 are provided in the liquid hydrogen storage tank 30, and the second chamber 32 is opened to the first chamber 31 or connected to the first chamber via a pressure regulator 33. |
