The hearing aid essentially comprises a microphone, a single- or multi-stage amplifier, at least one volume control, one or several precontrols, an earphone and a housing chamber accommodating the battery. For advantageous production, ease of maintenance, variable adaptation of the hearing aid to particular stages of performance and so forth, the hearing aid is distinguished by the fact that the hearing aid housing (9) consists of several housing components (10, 11, 13, 14) which can be electrically and mechanically detachably attached to one another.
