Pivot arm, e.g. for monitor carrier - contains mounting and carrier parts and parallel gram adjustment mechanism

A pivot arm contains a mounting part, a carrier part and a parallelogram adjustment mechanism with two mounting arms (16,34,34'34'') linked to the mounting and carrier parts. One arm works in conjunction with at least one spring element (74) caused to pivot upwards with the end of the adjustment mechanism connected to the carrier part. The mounting arms are mutually frictionally connected with variable frictional force. The spiral spring element axis lies parallel to or coaxial with the mounting arm pivot axis. USE/ADVANTAGE - E.g. for use in monitor carrier, pivot arm is developed to be easier to operate and to contain more compact adjustment mechanism.
