PURPOSE:To lower a running cost of a room heater and to improve a thermal efficiency by controlling communication and closure of a bypass passage according to a signal from a temperature sensor provided at a downstream side of the passage at an outlet side of a heat exchanging core. CONSTITUTION:A switching valve 40 is inserted between a temperature sensor 11 and a radiator 9, and a solar heat warm water section 7 is connected to a drain side of the valve 40 to branch heat medium 2. An output of the sensor 11 at a downstream side of a bypass passage 10 at an outlet side of a heat exchanging core 3 is connected to a controller 12. The controller 12 operates a three-way valve 22 in response to the detected temperature of the sensor 11 to control communication and closure of the passage 10. The controller 12 further controls operating speeds of a fan 9a, a pump 8 and a switch S1 for turning ON, OFF conduction to an auxiliary electric heater 4b. Thus, in the case of room heating, solar heat is effectively used and economical midnight power is used to discharge accumulated heat. |
