PURPOSE:To optimumly execute a correction of other register shift factor, when a correction of a skew shift is executed, without being influenced by the correction of its skew shift. CONSTITUTION:In a step S1, a first sampling cycle is executed, and data of each register shift is collected. In the case a correction to a skew shift is necessary, a skew correction amount is calculated in a step 4, and in a step S5, a skew correction is executed in accordance with the calculated correction amount. Subsequently, in a step 6, a second sampling cycle is executed, and in a step S7, a shift amount of other a color register shift than the skew shift is calculated from the collected sampling data, and based thereon, in a step S8, a correction amount for correcting other each color register shift is calculated. In the end, in a step S9, a correction of other each color register shift is executed in accordance with the correction amount. |
