Expansive machines are used when producing fowl carcasses (1) free from giblets on a large scale. In smaller production units the giblets must be removed by hand. The present invention relates to the removal of giblets (3) on a smaller scale with the aid of a simple apparatus having an immovable shaft (8 and 9) provided at its free end with a movable scraper (11 and 12). The carcass (1) is applied over the shaft (8 and 9) with the scraper (11 and 12) in a position coinciding with the shaft (8 and 9). After application, the carcass (1) is removed with the scraper (11 and 12) folded out so that the giblets (3) remain on the scraper (11 and 12). |
