<p>PURPOSE:To provide toner particles excellent in low-temp. fixability, blocking resistance, anti-offsetting property, toner filming resistance and developing property, having high durability, not causing image blurring at the time of forming an image and stably giving a high quality image by allowing very proper amts. of fine resin particles for surface modification and a releasing agent to exist on the surfaces of toner particles. CONSTITUTION:When fine resin particles for surface modification are fixed by mechanical impact on matrix particles contg. a bonding resin, a colorant, a releasing agent, etc., to obtain a toner, the amts. of the fine resin particles and the releasing agent existing on the surfaces of the toner particles are analyzed by photoelectron spectroscopy by irradiation with X-rays and the proper range of each of the amts.
