<p>PURPOSE:To realize a effective recycling of thermoplastic resin foam by a method wherein cotton-like material having fine holes is obtained by centrifugally jetting thermoplastic resin foam heated under semi-molten state through slits or small holes. CONSTITUTION:Under the state that a rotative container 5 is rotatingly driven by a motor 9 and a rotative heater 19 is heated by being energized, thermoplastic resin foam cut or ground in the size from about several millimeters to several centimeters is charged through a stock-feeding opening 13 in the container 5. The changed thermoplastic resin foam is pressed against the inner peripheral surface part of the rotating heative 19 by the centrifugal force of the rotative container 5 so as to be heated by coming into contact with the heating wires of the rotative heater 19, resulting in turning the foam into semi-molten state in an instant and passing it through slits between the heating wires and jetting it outside from discharging holes 17 by centrifugal force. The thermoplastic resin foam under semi-molten state flys in a product receiving part to an outer peripheral side wall side by inertial force and, after being cooled and flowed by the cooling air generated with a rotating fan 39 so as to stretch it, resulting in being turned into cotton-like material having fine holes.</p> |
