PURPOSE: To provide a fold-down handle which is produced at low cost, easy to fix on, tough and rigid. CONSTITUTION: This handle has a pair of bracket members 10 fixed on an article A to be held leaving a space, and a grip member 12 extended between the bracket members and rotatablly fixed on the bracket members around a pivot axis as a center, and the grip member and the bracket members have rim wall faces 122, 102 which the contact end face positioned on a plane normal to the pivot axis and ellipsoidal cross section centering on a central axis line slanting against the pivot axis include. End parts of ellipsoidal rim wall faces 122, 102 cross to each end face along a circular edge and the center agrees with the pivot axis. |
