PURPOSE:To carry out the accurate condition inspection of a printed material by inputting a reference color sample and the sampled printed material with a camera, converting the signal into a reaction-density signal for every pixel, comparing densities, and adding a warning signal to the position of the pixel signal when the result of the comparison is larger than the density difference specified beforehand. CONSTITUTION:A reference color sample is clicked with a mouse 90 and position information is inputted. Then, the luminance signal of an RGB is picked up with a camera 40. The signal is converted into the reflected density signal of YMC for every pixel, and the signal is stored into a YMC reference memory. By the same way, a sampled printed material is clicked at the same position as the reference color sample with the mouse 90, and the position information is inputted. Then, the luminance signal. of RGB is received and converted into the reflection density signal of the YMC. The signal is stored into a YMC sampling memory. The stored signal is converted into the RGB signal. The image of the printed material is displayed on a monitor 80. The data of the YMC sampling and the data of the reference memory are compared with a density comparing circuit based on the selection of the comparing mode. When any one exceeds the preset density, the warning signal is displayed with different color on the image of the printed material on the monitor 80. |
