PURPOSE:To arouse good feeling by aroma not only in the user himself but in the surrounding as well by providing the subject device with a cartridge which is interposed in a water flow passage for shower water and an aromatic agent which is housed in this cartridge and imparts the aroma to the shower water. CONSTITUTION:This aroma imparting device has the cartridge 4 between a shower head 1 and a joint 3 for connecting a hose 2 thereto. The water path in the hose 2 on the upstream side from the joint 3 and the shower head 1 on the downstream side are communicated with the inside of the cartridge 4. A chrorine removing filter and the solid aromatic agent are housed in the cartridge 4. The solid aromatic agent is merely necessitated to be formed to a shape with which the agent is contactable with the water flowing in the cartridge 4 without drastically hindering the water flow. While the solid aromatic agent may be formed to the form of a grain, rod, woven fabric, non- woven fabric, cotton, etc., the agent is formed to a lotus root shape, i.e., a cylindrical outside shape internally having many through-holes penetrating in an axial direction. |
