The invention relates to an apparatus for finishing ready-portioned deep-frozen foodstuff, provided with a holder for keeping the foodstuff deep-frozen, and an oven for receiving the foodstuff and coupled with the holder via a metering member, and a control means for controlling the metering member and the dispensation of a desired portion from the holder for finishing in the oven. Between the holder and the oven a metering channel is provided having an entrance flap and an exit flap which can be operated independently of each other.
