PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide synchronization at a high speed. SOLUTION: Input signals are divided into the (n) pieces of partial signals in the length of N×R (S2), a local PN sequence is divided into partial PN sequences for each sequence length N (S3) and the correlation value of the respective first ones of them is calculated (S4 and S5). When it exceeds a threshold value, the cumulative addition of the correlation value, the extraction of the next partial signal and local PN sequence and the calculation of the correlation value are successively performed (S8 and S9).
