PURPOSE:To eliminate a need to take the data size of a junction face into consideration and to join data without deviation by judging the junction position by shift operation and exclusive OR operation. CONSTITUTION:In the case of vertical junction between read-in image data 1A and 1B, image data 1A is shifted to the leftmost position with bit operators to cause the right end of image data 1A and the left end of image data 1B to coincide with each other. Exclusive ORs of junction face data of image data 1A and 1B are operated and are stored together with position coordinates at this time. It is judged whether the junction face of image data 1A and 1B can be shifted or not; and if it cannot be shifted, a coordinate X to which the sum of exclusive ORs is closest is detected. Image data are moved to the coordinate X and are coupled. Finally, data in protruding parts of image data are deleted to generate image data 4 having a manageable format. |
