PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reader/writer for rewrite cards with a function of warning a time when to clean a printing head. SOLUTION: The reader/writer 1 for rewrite cards with the cleaning warning function is for the rewrite cards having a rewritable display layer. The reader/ writer 1 is provided with a printing head 12, an erase head 13 and a control part therefor, and is further provided with a counter 14 for counting and integrating the number of cards printed by the printing head. When the number of cards exceeds a preliminarily set predetermined number, a warning to clean the printing head is displayed to a display part. |
