发明名称 Visible anti-forgery protection system
摘要 The visible security for paper, as a protection against forgery, is an arrangement (3) of intersecting filaments (1,2). The filaments are of synthetic materials such as polymers, natural materials, a combination of synthetic and natural materials, glass, or metal. The filaments are colored, with color variations along their length and/or radially round them. The filaments are coated, metallized, coated with an adhesion or welding aid, or coated with a dye. The color variations are gradual, without a break between them, or there is a sharp boundary between color changes. The filaments can contain special emission characteristics when excited and/or have magnetic and/or chemical and/or optical characteristics. Optically, the filaments can have absorption, polarized twisting and nonlinear visual effects. The filaments are transparent, and the added character materials can be checked visually, as they emit visible rays. The filaments are bi- or multicomponent filaments, side-by-side, core and mantle or fibrils in a matrix. The matrix is transparent and the fibrils are colored. The filaments have a round or out-of-round cross-section, with a variable cross section shape along their length. The filaments can contain hollow zones, and can have an elastic stretch. The filaments are shrunk physically or chemically. The filaments, as part-filaments, are braided and/or twisted and/or spun with a cladding. The filament array is stabilized by bonding them at their intersections by knotting, adhesion and/or welding and/or fusion. The filament array is wholly or partially printed with anti-forgery information. The filament array is wholly or partially embedded in the material to be protected, or is between two layers of paper. An Independent claim is included for the production of the security system, with an array of intersecting filaments which are woven, knitted, or braided, to carry the anti-forgery information. Preferred Features: The filaments are bonded together at their intersections and to the product material by fusion, or they are adhesive bonded physically or chemically. The product to be protected has an adhesive layer. The filament structure is applied to the material so that it is encapsulated by it. Or a tube of the filaments is shrunk on to the product to be protected within it, by an elastic contraction. The protective filament structure is applied while the product for protection is in a fluid phase. The product to be protected against forgery is a film, paper or a transparent container wall. The intersecting filaments can be laid on an intermediate carrier, for hot or cold information transfer printing relating to the protected product. The intermediate carrier is between the filament structure and the protected product, or the intermediate carrier can be peeled away when the filaments are in place. The structure can be a braiding of separate filaments, formed into a continuous substrate web with a hardened liquid mass. The filaments can be braided at the stock inlet of a papermaking machine or in the liquid mass of a film production machine.
